In the middle of Europe, there is a small country called Poland. It is neither the biggest, nor the most well-known or richest.  But Poland has a secret weapon- it's people.

There are 11 IFMSA local committees in Poland which gather over 2000 medical students. But those are not ordinary medical students - they have vivid imagination, warm hearts and a strong  will to act. Thanks to their commitment and hard work every year we have new, interesting projects.

Would you like to help kids staying in psychiatrist hospital? Neverland project is a best way to do this. Or maybe you are concerned about growing rate of bone diseases? If yes, you should definitely read the article about Build Up Your Bones Project.  What about unplanned pregnancy of  teenage girls? People working in Wpadka Project, can tell you how to change situations.

Those are only examples of interesting initiatives which run in Poland. By this small bulletin we try to show you the diversity of things which can be done by medical students. If you are interested in any of those projects don't hesitate and write to us.

And always remember: impossible is nothing!

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
